This notice explains, in line with Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), how your personal data is processed when you use gmsmachine.com and when you contact us.

1. Data controller

SEHİM GÜMÜŞ MAKİNA İMALAT SAN. VE TİC. LTD. ŞTİ. · Güzelburç Mah. Ovalı 2. Cad. No:6, Antakya / Hatay, Türkiye · Email: [email protected]

2. What data we collect and how

Quote form: your name, phone number, email address, country, the machine you are interested in and your message; the IP address from which you send the form and the source that brought you to the site (e.g. a Google ad).

WhatsApp: When you tap the WhatsApp button on the site, a short request code is added to your message; together with the code we record the page you came from, your country and the source of your visit. What you write on WhatsApp reaches us through WhatsApp (Meta).

Use of the site: On every visit our server keeps technical records such as IP address, browser information, the page visited and the date. We use them to filter out bot traffic and to understand how the site is used. To count returning visitors, a non-reversible digest (salted hash) is derived from the IP address and browser information; the raw IP address is not stored in these statistics.

Advertising measurement: The site contains the Google Ads tag. If you arrived by clicking a Google ad, whether you used the quote form, WhatsApp or the phone link is reported to Google as a “conversion”. Your name, phone number or message are not sent in this report.

3. Purposes and legal grounds

We process your data to prepare quotes, answer your questions, contact you and carry out the sales process (KVKK Art. 5/2-c: establishing a contract); for the security of the site, filtering bot traffic, site usage statistics and measuring the effectiveness of our ads (KVKK Art. 5/2-f: legitimate interest); and to meet our legal obligations (KVKK Art. 5/2-ç). We do not sell your data or use it for other companies’ advertising.

4. Who the data is shared with

Your data is shared only with the infrastructure providers we work with to deliver the service: server hosting (Oracle Cloud, Germany), content delivery and security (Cloudflare), email sending and inbox (Resend, Google), advertising measurement (Google Ads), WhatsApp (Meta) if you write to us there, and internal notifications (Telegram). Some of these providers have servers abroad; such transfers are made under Article 9 of the KVKK. Information is given to legally authorised public authorities only on request and where required by law.

5. How long the data is kept

Quote and WhatsApp request records: up to 2 years; records that turn into a sale: for the legally required retention periods. Server access logs: 14 days; backups: up to 30 days. Digest values in the returning-visitor statistics: 180 days. Data is deleted when its period ends.

6. Cookies and information stored in your browser

Necessary: your language preference (in your browser’s local storage) and Cloudflare security cookies that keep the site running safely.

Advertising measurement (only with your consent): Google Ads cookies, and keeping the ad information that brought you to the site (click ID and campaign tag) in your browser. Without consent, Google Ads sets no cookies; the ad information is kept only for the current visit and attached to a request if you send one.

You can accept or decline in the window shown on your first visit, and change your choice at any time via the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of the page. If you decline, this information is deleted from your browser. Our videos open from YouTube’s cookie-free address (youtube-nocookie.com). You can also delete cookies in your browser settings; declining does not prevent you from using the site.

7. Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to learn whether your data is processed; to request information if it is; to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly; to know the parties it is transferred to; to request correction if it is incomplete or wrong; to request deletion or destruction when the conditions are met; to request that these actions be notified to the parties it was transferred to; to object to a result against you arising solely from automated analysis; and to claim compensation if you suffer damage from unlawful processing.

8. How to apply

To exercise your rights, send your request by email to [email protected] or in writing to our address above. Your request will be answered free of charge within 30 days at the latest.
