Many customers who buy a machine from us expect big profits in the first few months. We understand: the investment has been made, the machine is running, and it feels like it is time to start earning. But having watched new companies start out in this business for 27 years, we can say this: the first 6 months, even the first year, are not for expecting profit — they are for earning your place in the market.

When you enter the market as a new company, nobody knows you. Construction companies prefer to stay with the supplier they already work with; trusting someone new takes time. That is why patience really matters in the first year — in this business, many new companies that rush and expect big earnings straight away end up disappointed and give up, when things would have settled if they had held on a little longer.

But being patient does not mean sitting and waiting with your hands tied. Quite the opposite — work never comes by waiting; you have to go out and look for it. Have business cards printed and always keep a few on you. Prepare a simple flyer that describes your product and gives your contact details. Visit the construction companies in your area one by one and introduce yourself. And even if you cannot speak to a decision-maker at a place you visit, leave a flyer with the watchman of that site — it looks like a small thing, but work very often comes exactly like this, from unexpected places.

In short: the first year is not a time for profit, it is a time for building recognition. The more doors you knock on, the sooner you will start to hear back.
